Who we are

Sag Harbor Roofing Co. ("we", "us") operates this website as a referral service: we match homeowners with one independent, licensed and insured roofer for their project. Sag Harbor Roofing Co. does not perform the work described on this site.

What we collect

When you submit the "Match me with a Hamptons roofer" form on this site, we collect:

• Name, email and phone number, so we and the matched contractor can reach you.
• Property address or town, so we can match you with a roofer who works in your area and so the matched contractor knows where the job is.
• Project details you provide (the type of work, timing, and any notes), so we and the matched contractor can understand the job before calling you.

We also automatically record technical information needed to operate the site and prevent abuse — your IP address, browser/user-agent, and basic session information — at the time you submit the form.

How we use it

We use the information you submit to:

• Match your request with one independent contractor who works in your area and is a fit for the job.
• Share your submission with that one matched contractor and with Sag Harbor Roofing Co.'s operator, so the contractor can contact you about your project.
• Keep a record of the referral for our own business records — for example, tracking whether a match led to completed work.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the one matched contractor and Sag Harbor Roofing Co.'s own operator — never with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a cookieless analytics service that does not collect personal data and does not track you across other websites. Plausible tells us in aggregate how many people visit this site and which pages they view; it cannot identify you individually.

Who else sees this data (service providers)

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and deliver your match. Each only sees the data it needs to do its job, and none may use it for their own purposes:

• Vercel — hosts this website.
• Supabase — stores our database, including submitted leads.
• Resend — sends the email notification when you submit the form.
• CallRail — tracks calls made to our published phone number, (631) 483-7915, so we know a call came from this site.
• Cloudflare — provides domain name service (DNS) and anti-spam protection for this site.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to deliver the match and keep records of referrals, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
